An empty or wrong TV guide is annoying but almost always quick to fix.
- Wait — the first EPG download can take a few minutes.
- Force update the EPG in your app’s settings.
- Set the time offset to match your time zone.
- Check the device clock — wrong date/time breaks the guide.
- Clear cache and restart the app.
- Add the EPG URL manually for M3U playlists (ask support).
- Message support with the channel name — some channels may need re-mapping.
Why the TV guide breaks
The EPG (electronic programme guide) is a separate data file that your player downloads and matches to channels by an ID. If the download fails, or a channel’s ID doesn’t match, that channel shows “No information”. If the times are shifted, the player is reading the guide in a different time zone from yours.
App-by-app quick fixes
- TiviMate: Settings > EPG > Update EPG. To fix times: Settings > EPG > EPG time shift.
- IPTV Smarters: Settings > Time format / EPG time shift; then Home > Refresh EPG (top-right).
- IBO Player / Smart TV apps: reload the playlist from the app menu; if empty for more than an hour, send support a photo of your screen.
- MAG box: Settings > Reload portal; check that the box clock is set to your time zone.
When it’s not on your side
If the guide is missing for one specific channel while others work, the ID probably changed. Tell us the channel name and we remap it — usually the same day.
